2016 African Missions Conference

A Great Light Has Dawned

The African Missions Conference – A Great Light Is Dawning

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” – Isaiah 9:2

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” – John 8:12

We are excited to announce that our second African Missions Conference (AMC), entitled “A GREAT LIGHT HAS DAWNED,” will be held in Lagos, Nigeria from Friday, June 24th through Sunday 26th, 2016! It was incredible to witness our first AMC in the French-speaking nation of Abijdan, Cote D’Ivoire last year, entitled, “Every Tribe, Language and Nation!” The LORD blessed us with almost 500 souls in attendance, 12 baptisms, and one came to be restored, culminating in the official planting of the Abidjan International Christian Church led by Amadou & Angele Sountoura!

As disciples of Jesus, the “light of the world,” we now have the opportunity to proclaim the life of Jesusin a nation known for the “darkness” of its religiosity and corruption! Known as the “Giant of Africa,” Nigeria is the largest country on the African continent, with a population approaching almost 200 million and a landmass that is twice the size of the state of California! The city of Lagos is Nigeria’s economic and commercial center, and thus is a key pillar city for all of Africa! Please pray as preparations are being made for the Lagos Mission Team to be sent out from Los Angeles on May 22nd, 2016! The Inaugural Service of the new Lagos International Christian Church will be held on the final day of the AMC – Sunday, June 26th at the beautiful Four Points Sheraton Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos!

We would be honored to have you join us as attendees and inspiring guest speakers, such as Kip and Elena McKean, will be traveling from nations across the globe to this historic event! In order to assist with the expenses of transporting indigent brothers and sisters from remnant groups across the African continent, the registration fee for non-African attendees will be $150. Please note that a Tourist Visa will be required for your visit (www.travelvisapro.com), as well as the necessary vaccinations (http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel). Thank you for helping us to make our second African Missions Conference another great success!

For His Glory,
